LAURA...Well, she is pretty much the logical side of my (Em's) brain! Really...

I KNOW i make her CrAzY BUT she loves me anyway! It all started with just Em & Laura. We

didn't even know each other until i explained my vision to her and she was like....

"oh yea sure i can do that"..I had been searching hi and low for someone that "got it" for

literally FIVE YEARS! What are the odds i meet another only child who's dad also had complete

 faith in us,a couple years younger than me who's dry, sarcastic sense of humor keeps

me rollin' in my office  laughing no matter how stressful it is! That's when Laura hopped on

the surfboard w/me and away we went...haven't stopped yet! Laura has a degree in

Architecture from the Universty of TN, Knoxvegas that is really coming in handy for what we do.

KIDDING! But without Laura as a biz partner EMTanner Designs would without a doubt not be

 where we are and perhaps EMTanner herself would be living behind 4 padded walls!

(probably wearing a bubblegum pink strait jacket reciting fonts in a rocking chair)!!!

 

 

 

REAGAN...hmmmm...well this is Will's big sister who he brought on board with us in a

part time position a couple days a week and that's when i realized i need this chick to run the

front of the show and keep everything moving, manage the inventory, and it has literally

 CHANGED MY LIFE! She is that person that just "handles it"...

yep, handles WHATEVER "IT" may be! I am able to leave work and not

double check every order backwards on the website! Frankly we just outgrew

ourselves faster than anyone would have ever anticipated and when Reagan

jumped on the surfboard with us...(i always say we are just "riding the wave")...

well the waves got a HECK of alot calmer!Reagan has kinda morped into my own

personal assistant as well! Being one of 4 kids herself she is able to handle my crazy

sometimes unpredictable personality and not think a thing of it! LOVE HER!

She is that kinda person that there is no such thing as an "uncomfortable silence"

if you know what i mean?? I can work with her literally behind me in my office

and not feel wierd that I am not speaking to her...LOL. Sooooo basically all these 

 happy customers owe ALOT of it all to Reagan! Reagan actually has a degree

in Logistics and Transportation from the University of TN, Knoxville

that IS coming in handy!

 

 

BRIT...I feel like i'm writing the episode of survivor where the final 3 say something

about each one as they walk by all the former contestants torches..haha! OK,

back to BRIT...Well, Will found her too! THANK GOODNESS!!! She was moving

to Knoxville to be in the same town as her NOW husband! Well, her laid back, giddy,

free spirited personality was the PERFECT fit! Other than the "laid back" part Brit has

alot of the "EM" strong points where Reagan has a lot of the "LAURA" strong points.

So basically this duo who is about a decade behind us stepped up to our plates so we

could continue our company full force ahead! Brit is the head honcho on the

"creative front lines"...this girl can turn some SERIOUS tees! I knew she was a gal after

my own heart when her purse got stolen from the movies her first week in knoxville bc she

left it there, she locked her keys in the car RUNNING at walgreens on her lunchbreak,

and broke her key off in our door one evening when well she was coming to

get her phone she forgot at work! LOVE IT! Britney and I probably should not even

HAVE a purse, or a car! Oh i found her credit card stuck in the bathroom rug one night too!

BUT like i said the girl CAN self teach herself illustrating programs and crank some tees!

AND that is HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE at EMTanner these days! Brit is "DA BOMB"=).

Oh and just very sweet ontop of it all! She has a silly, innocent, sincere something about her!

Everyone loves Brit!

 

 Willie...First off he is absolutely freaking hysterical! His demeanor is soooooooo

much like Nick Simmons! Will is a near "perfect" shipping master! He spends his days

at EMTanner Designs hanging w/ all girls! Poor guy! BUT he does take care of us...he just

knows what is a "man job" and does it for us! (he did grow up with 3 older sisters)

 Will is an amazing musician by night....really you should go download him on itunes..

everytime i hear it i honestly am baffled...Go to Will Reagan and the United Pursuit Band...

In the night season is the most recent albumand i think my fave is probably

"break every chain" but all are great!Support your EMTanner Shipper!

He is also our veteran employee that Carla reeled in for me! Then he reeled in Brit and

Reagan...he is deserving of a human resources job here too! LOL...I do NOT attempt

to hire anymore....just let Will take care of it! I can't even begin to imagine how many

packages Will has shipped on USPS and UPS...OMGGGGGG!!!!He is a

PROFESSIONAL shipper, plate packager, ruffle cutter, button maker...you name it!

He can ship swiftly and accurately while playing "would you rather" all day long!ha!

WILL WILL he's our man...if he can't do it NOONE can! =)...thanks to Will

I honestly do NOT know ANYTHING about the shipping dept! It's great he just takes

care of it all for us! AHHHHH sweet relief...laura and i used to ship them all ourselves,

after we made them all ourselves...UGH.

 

 

Sara...she is the only other one in the building that shares the "working mom" chaos with me!

We spend lots of time talking in circles about HOW we are supposed to do it all and the

conversation has yet to end with a resolution! We just start the same issues back

up where we left off...LOL..she has 3 little ones and she and her husband are both

business owners sooooo needless to say Sara is CrAzY too! She comes through for us

in the wee hours of the night/morning when we are seeeewamped bc her hubby is home

with the kids...many times sara and i left work during the holiday season just before the sun

was coming up! REALLY! But on a daily basis she is in charge of inputing all of our

catalog orders and working with chasing fireflies directly to keep everything running smooth!

This allows her to do alot of her work from home but she also is GREAT at making all of

our products so she does step in and help us out quite often!!! We have sooooo

much in common...Sara and i live EERILY similar hectic lives that we later

have no choice but to laugh at or we may cry!!! THANK U Sara for all you squeeze

in your crazy schedule for us!!!She is a great asset to our team!
