Ok soooo because I have literally HUNDREDS of apps I use And love the thought of an app blog would overwhelm me!!! Yikes, where to start Is what would begin in this noggin’ and I’d run like hell to escape the ADHD/anxiety flood that followed. Soooooo I have decided to not try to “eat an elephant in one bite”(I think that’s the way it goes??…Laura gets this one from her dad and she often has to pull it out on me)….soooo I’m starting with my current favorite PHOTOGRAPHY APPS and there may be several parts to this blog. Hoping I can figure out a way to explain how to use them to BUT….let’s just say THERE IS A REASON I AM NOT A TEACHER!!!;)…I have huge appreciation for teachers and their skills and patience!!! I have none of the traits. 
….ok here goes it:
1. idarkroom
(below pic completely edited in idarkroom…vignette also via idarkroom)—i probably think it’s safe to say i use idarkroom more than any app….at least for now. I do go thru phases.
ok so I use this one almost everytime I edit anything. I make the colors pop here before I take into another app and make a collage or I can also add my fave round border if I’m doing a single photo post and just use this app. If that makes a lick of sense.
2. Photoshop Express
If u are a photoshopper/adobe queen like myself u will enjoy this app for working with contrast/exposure/saturation and cropping….but other than that I feel the rest of the filters on here are kinda cheesy so I take the photoshopped photo or set into a different app.
3. PicFrame
This is THE MACK DADDY Collage app I use ALL THE TIME!!! and the labels to put words on them is an app within this app for an extra .99 and is well worth it! U can adjust the squares in each template as needed and it’s just SUPER DUPER ACCOMODATING APP abdomen probably my NUMBER ONE MUST HAVE IF I HAD TO PICK JUST ONE!!!

4. Instagram
I’ve had my IG account for a long time but then Kris got me interested after showing me some of the masterpieces running thru “Rooftop’s” IG feed (from LA ink show. He Kat’s best guy friend and old roommate)…and now I’m totally diggin it. There are soooo many fabulous iphoneographers both professional and ameture and just for fun….i could look at peeps photography for HOURSSSSSSS– Come follow me And I’ll follow you….I think I’m emietanner
5. Tiltshift Generator

This is my fave app for blurring and shifting focus. I also think it rocks to adjust colors and such. I use this often PRE-PicFrame collage app if that makes sense.
6. PhotoSync
(SUPER HANDY FOR MULTI DEVICE PEEPS)
This ROCKS if u are a gadget hoe like we are!…you load on all devices and on your Mac and when both are opened u can wirelessly transfer photos to and from any device. It rocks. It occasionally crashes if u try to transfer too many at a time. I can do about 40 or so WO crashing.
7.Genius Camera
I use this one PRE-INSTAGRAM a lot…it makes the colors obnoxious and then w/the instagram filters it looks AHHHMAZING (most of the time) i have found. Very easy to use and pretty quick to edit since it is a “pre-edit”….i try not to take too long if i use several apps to achieve one post or collage on each app….i literally could spend hours playing with apps and which results i like the best but i try to keep as simple as possible for the most part because i do a lot of posting. But this is a good app to get the photo “prepped” for instagram filters if u are an instagrammer….and if you are NOT….dont do it unless you are okay w/being addicted to iphoneography!!! it’s amazing what all is done w/iphone cameras these days, really. very cool stuff. i enjoy looking at it ALLLLL
8. Storie

LOVE this app if you just want to tell a photo story with few words…i did a “storie” of halloween costumes thru the years sooooo it’s great if you need to incorporate a lot of photos to tell your “STORIE”=). Very simple to use and if you are a blogger it is really blog friendly as far as embedding your storie into your blog. it’s very cool…oh and you follow people and stuff…kinda the same idea as on instagram…if ya wanna follow me on STORIE….my username is: emietanner In fact i need to do a new Storie…havent used it in a while and i had forgotten how much i loved it! GREAT APP!!! I wanna follow all of you guys so go get moving on Storie and follow me so i can follow YOU!
9.Diptic

Similar to PicFrame but i like this one too….you can round both inside corners and outside corners and it looks cool…BUUUUTTT i definitely use PicFrame the most…Basically this is just a tad different version of a similar collage app. Both are great and some of my very faves!!!
10. iQuikDoF

Depth of field app…very cool, easy to use and just gives you the ability to control the focal point of all your iPhone photos. i very much so LOVE this app. Well worth paying for the pro version for sure.
11. Strip Designer

Another great app for combining several photos into one. I used this ALL THE TIME until i discovered PicFrame but still love this one too! I like variety and go back and forth to keep it from getting uber monotonous!
12.Montage
(advanced app i would say)
(below was run thru genius camera and then created in montage)…highly possible i am a moron but it did take me a little bit to figure this one out…just an FYI.
NOT saying everyone cannot go master this app but didn’t want you to feel like a moron if you take a while to figure it out but it took me a while to achieve what i wanted to but once i did i loved the result…Gives you full reign on the design and layout of a collage…You aren’t forced to stick w/a template…you make your own design layout. it’s fun, but definitely takes a little more “know how” and time. i never use this one for a quick photo post but it’s great for those nights in the tub where time is on my side…BAHAHAHAH…ya whatever like TIME IS EVER ON MY SIDE! sounded good though.
Okey Dokey….this is literally only a very FEW of my photo apps but these are the ones I’m using the most recently…if any of you have any questions post them here on the blog as a comment and i will do my best to help ya out. Hope you all enjoy these apps as much as i do!
