NOTE: Any input/ideas/thoughts would be greatly appreciated as long as it isn’t soooo intricate that’d I’ll have to trade my wheels in for an app…TIFFANY J…lol…jk;).,.I am needing any input ASAP though so I can submit it to apple bc it apparently takes a few weeks for approval and I wanna mark this off my TODO LIST FINALLY;)! yea Em!

sooo i think i am finished w/the “shell” and am in process of STUFFING it full…it is neverending the way i have it set up..which is both good and bad..not sure ill ever feel like i am FINISHED..lol…the story of my life..BUT that means everyday can be an adventure, right..lol…

the content:

contact-the obvious..but you will be able to click on call and dial REAGAN (she may wanna choke me for this feature..haha)…OR hit a button and email her direct at customerservice..cheesy easy…and all our info as far as when we are there etc…

website-again, the obvious..a direct link to YOUR FAVORITE SITE…JK=)…just tap it and you’ll land on our home page.

facebook-again, obvious direct link to our page…wonder if i should get a parental control feature added in case anyone doesnt know i am sort of “unfiltered’..oops =)

weekly warriors...i have set it up so that you click as follows

weekly warriors button-takes you to weekly warriors “week 1″..then click “week 1″ and the recipes will be separate from each other so you can easily pull up only one if you are in midst of a grocery run and dont want the whole post…i did have it just as it is on the blog..but i thought it will be much easier for those that actually do their own meal planning and mix it up..me, i dont..i stick w/the week that i pick to win=)..but thought some of u might like to view EACH recipe individually..make any sense at all? this garb is complex..like a never ending outline when you go into it trying to complete!

photos…will just post product pics, fan pics, etc…30 are active at a time so may try and switch it up per month or something..not sure there except for that it will be full of FUNKY photos=)…basically my virtual bulletin boardISH if you will.

specials…one click away from an outline of our daily “pink light specials”(ill try my best to do daily=)…also a link to any newly added sale item in junk in the trunk and a link to let you know any current codes, etc ..but i do still plan to be spontaneous w/all that like i do now..that’s just me?? it’s more fun that way..lol..really it’s prob just that i fly by the seat of my pants so that is the only way to work it in by ACTING spontaneous..haha..no kidding i really do just think of one and pop it up on my phone in teh middle of ballgames, tub..whatever just inspired me!..BUT hey..it will be much easier to keep up w/my neurotic sales when it’s in “app form”, right? lol

the Biz mode…is JAM PACKED! AND HAVENT EVEN PUT A DENT IN WHAT WILL BE THERE!

STAFF PAGES..MEET, CHAT READ POSTS BY OUR CRAZY EMPLOYEES…somehow someway i will get laura’s sense of humor involved in social networking..haha! i swear the girl is HYSTERICAL she just sarcastically keeps to herself and mutters the best oneliners and freaking pee in your pants funny kinda garb and she barely cracks a smile! gotta get her hangin’ with our peeps SOMEWHERE..apparantly that somewhere is NOT fb or twitter..haha! soo giving this a whirl.

cool press section…really a digital scrapbook bc i have yet to keep up with the press section on our blog..this is sooo easy i think ill keep a runnin talley! just in case i get hit by a bus my kids will know i made it happen..lol..JK

FAQ’s section-..ie..what does egt mean…that is the “status” of my current order..lol..if i had a dime for everyone of these..ha! i knew when we made the in house manufactuirng coordinate w/the statuses that customers can see that this could cause some questions.fyi..egt..that would be me! if you have egt and your item is late..that means I (me myself and i..not reagan, laura, will, etc)am the one you want to cuss out!=)…but other random stuff people may wonder will be answered here..feel free to tell us random stuff you wanna know now so i can be sure and fill ya in right here in this section!

turnaround time..outlined in rediculous detail..maybe even a daily ship date will be posted..havent nailed that down yet as far as functionality..but trying!

contests…all the info will be spelled out here!

featured products

new product

and the list goes on and on..tell us what else you wanna see HERE in this section.

OH andme2tee..so i know everyone wanted app to design ME2TEES FOR THEM..AND I DID GET A QUOTE FOR THAT right at about 7000.00 sooooo i think i have kinda sorta manipulated the system to where i can just do ALOT of me 2 tee examples and try and touch on all diff looks and stuff..i am gonna make a bunch of app kids based on kids i really know so if you call and say..my kid looks like ‘mary lawson’i will know EXACTLY which kid you mean! it wont be the 7000 dollar answer BUT it will help i think. i will try my best to do it justice! promise!

mommy mode…well this is just my attempt to tie my business to my home life so that when my mom is jonesing for some photos i can say..ummm mom go click on the app..but then i realized she doesnt have an iphone! but my thoughts were also the stuff that i ramble about to you guys as MOMS not BUSINESS…ie-messy houses, how to organize..just the mommy survival shit that we all deal with on a daily basis! but i havent outlined this very well but thought something will probably pop up everyday and outline itself!..HELP ME FILL THIS SECTION IN!PUHLEEASE I AM TIRED OF DOING THIS BUT I AM SOOO THERE WHEN I AM COMFIE SUBMITTING TO APPLE!

and most all sections have photos attached so it wont just be a buncha garb without graphics/photos! i couldnt handle that!

ok, for the most part THIS IS THE GIST Of it..but like i said the “stuffing” is endless..sooo whatcha whatcha whatcha want!? xo ..geez louise i am gonna dream about app buttons for days!

Oh and I’m stiff IFFY about the actual APP icon that will show up in iTunes…trying to make as recognizeable to our company as possible so I used logo from our tags but is there something better?? Thx! Xo

1/2 C maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla

A great meal to prepare ahead of time…
Place breadcubes into a 13×9 pan. Mix all ingredients and pour on top of bread. Cover and refrigerate. Let stand 30 minutes before putting in oven. 375 degrees for 50 minutes.

Just feelin the good ole’ SEASONAL anxiety hittin’ me and felt the need to reiterate that we are all JUST LIKE EVERYONE WHO SHOPS WITH US=)…have kids to pick up, dinners to cook, beds to TRY TO SLEEP IN FOR A FEW SHORT HOURS..LOL…etc..anyway, not directing this to ANYONE BUT NEEDED TO GET IT OFF MY CHEST NOW bc i am watching my piles get bigger and bigger as the fall approaches sooooo just think twice before calling to tell us we SUCK bc your waterbottle is a day late…LOL..xoxox just a bad day dont panic everything isnt late..promise…just a hypothetical truth i needed to paint a picture of! one thing i hope you take away with this blog entry is: the more OPTIONS YOU HAVE…the more ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ACCURACY FOR US! and it seems you all like your OPTIONS! Remember keep turning in YOUR recipes. The more the merrier!! Here is carla’s winning submission:

I’m loving this! I teach 1st grade and will be going back to work on Tuesday. Greg and I have 3 kids under the age of seven so I have been planning our weekly meals for a while now.
This year I am going to try and plan our meals for the whole month. So I am so psyched about your weekly menu posts!

We eat salad, steamed broccoli, steamed green beans, or carrots with every meal. Helps get the veggies in, a no-brainer, and the kids love them.
Enjoy!
Carla Wilkerson

Crock Pot BBQ sandwiches
Love this one! So easy and wonderful because I can turn it on when we leave for school and it’s ready when we get back.

Ingredients
1 (3- to 4-pound) shoulder pork roast
1 (18-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
1 (12-ounce) can cola soft drink
1 squeeze of grape jelly
package of buns

Place pork roast in the crock pot. Pour barbecue sauce and cola over roast.
Squeeze some grape jelly over the roast.
Cover and cook on high 8 hours or until meat is tender and shreds easily.

Healthy Corn Chowder Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
2 Tablespoons celery, finely diced
2 Tablespoons onion, finely diced
2 Tablespoons green pepper, finely diced
1 package (10 oz) frozen whole kernel corn
1 cup raw potatoes, peeled, diced in 1/2-inch pieces
2 Tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
to taste black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 Tablespoons flour
2 cups skim milk- you can use whole milk too we just happen to drink skim
milk.

1. Heat oil in medium saucepan. Add celery, onion, and green pepper, and sauté for 2 minutes.

2. Add corn, potatoes, water, salt, pepper, and paprika. Bring to boil and then reduce heat to medium. Cook covered for about 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

3. Place 1/2 cup of milk in jar with lid. Add flour and shake.

4. Gradually add milk-flour mixture to cooked vegetables. Then add remaining milk.

5. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to boil and thickens. Serve garnished with chopped, fresh parsley.

I think I may add ham from the deli to this.

Ranch Noodles
1 (8-ounce) package egg noodles
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup Ranch dressing
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain and return to pot. Stir in butter and remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.

You can add broccoli or green peas if you like to get the veggies in.

Oven baked chicken
2 cups buttermilk
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon hot-pepper sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon fresh-ground pepper
2 pound(s) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3- by 1/2-inch strips
1 package (7-ounce) sesame crispbread, such as WASA
6 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter, melted

1. Prepare the night before:
Combine the buttermilk, garlic, hot-pepper sauce, salt, and pepper in a
large bowl. Add the chicken, cover, and let it sit overnight.

2. Come home from work and heat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Lightly coat 2 baking pans with oil and set aside.

3. Crush the crispbread into coarse crumbs and place the crumbs in a large,
shallow baking dish, toss in the melted butter, and set aside. Remove the
chicken from the marinade and coat with the crumbs. Place on the
prepared pans and bake, turning once, until golden and crisp, about 25
min.

Baked Ziti-
1/2 pound dried ziti
15 or 16 ounces ricotta cheese (part skim)
3 cups (or 12 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
3 cups (or a 26-ounce jar) spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and add the ziti. Cook until tender, about 8 minutes, drain the pasta.

2. Place the ziti in a large bowl. Mix with the ricotta and half of the mozzarella. Grease a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Spread half of the spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the pan. Add the ziti mixture and cover with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan and the remaining mozzarella.

3. Bake uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes, until the casserole bubbles on the edges.

Dorito Nacho Salad

1 lb. ground beef
1 head lettuce
1 tomato
1 cucumber
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 lb. Doritos nacho chips, crushed up
Kraft Catalina dressing

Brown ground beef with whatever seasoning you like to use. I use Tiger’s seasoning or Goya-Adobo. Drain the oil. Let the ground beef cool off.
In large salad bowl- shred lettuce, cut tomato, and cucumber. Add shredded cheddar cheese. Toss with the beef mixture. Add Doritos when you are ready to eat it. Toss. Put Catalina dressing in to taste and mix.

Fridays it is! We will post the upcoming weeks menu i choose on Fridays per our facebook fans requests=)…So this week we will be checking out Amy’s Boyfriends Favorites..LOL…They look good and easy to me..can’t wait to try..Remember if you havent submitted your families 6 day meal plan do it and you could be the next one picked! i am trying to think of a binder or something that i can FuNkify for all our great family recipes we are going to have!!! Together i am certain we will conquer another week BECAUSE WE ARE WEEKLY WARRIORS..LOL..just kiddin’ what a tool! xoxo

So I’m not a mom at all, but my boyfriend is probably pickier than most kids, so if he eats it, it must be good, right? I really like cooking with crescent rolls, they taste good, my boyfriend likes them, and they’re so versatile!

Enjoy

-Amy

Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic

3-4 pounds chicken (I like boneless skinless chicken breasts, just cook for less time)
1 large onion sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon pepper
20-40 garlic cloves, peeled, but intact

The Directions.

I used a 6 quart oval slow cooker. Place onion slices on the bottom of the stoneware insert. In a large mixing bowl, toss chicken parts with olive oil, salt, paprika, pepper, and all of the garlic cloves. Pour into slow cooker, on top of the onion.

Do not add water.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 4-6. The longer you cook chicken-on-the-bone, the more tender it will be. If you use drumsticks, the ones on the side will brown and may stick to the sides of the crock, burning a bit. If this bothers you, you can rearrange them with tongs an hour before serving.
I cooked our chicken on low for 7 hours, then kept it on warm for another 2.

Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. Makes awesome fried rice the next day http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2008/05/crockpot-fried-rice-recipe.html

Crescent Lasagna (one of my all-time faves!)

Meat Filling (I use 1 lb ground beef, but you can use half ground beef and half sausage)

1/2	lb bulk pork sausage

1/2	lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef

3/4	cup chopped onions

1	tablespoon dried parsley flakes

1/2	teaspoon dried basil leaves

1/2	teaspoon dried oregano leaves

1	small clove garlic, finely chopped

Dash pepper

1	can (6 oz) tomato paste

Cheese Filling

1/4	cup grated Parmesan cheese

1	cup small-curd cottage cheese

1	egg

Crust

2	cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated seamless dough sheet

2	(7×4-inch) slices mozzarella cheese

1	tablespoon milk

1	tablespoon sesame seed

DIRECTIONS

1.	In 10-inch skillet, cook sausage and beef until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink, stirring frequently; drain. Stir in remaining meat filling ingredients; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated.

2.	Meanwhile, heat oven to 375°F. In small bowl, mix cheese filling ingredients. Unroll both cans of dough. Place dough rectangles side by side, on ungreased cookie sheet (if using crescent dough, firmly press edges and perforations to seal). Press to form 15×13-inch rectangle.

3.	Spoon half of meat filling in 6-inch wide strip lengthwise down center of dough to within 1 inch of short sides. Spoon cheese filling over meat filling; spoon remaining meat filling evenly over cheese filling. Arrange mozzarella cheese slices over filling.

4.	Fold short sides of dough 1 inch over filling. Fold long sides of dough tightly over filling, overlapping edges in center 1/4 inch; firmly pinch center seam and ends to seal. Brush with milk; sprinkle with sesame seed.

5.	Bake 23 to 27 minutes or until deep golden brown.

Cheeseburger Casserole (seriously tastes like a quarter pounder with cheese from McDonalds!!)

INGREDIENTS

1 lb lean ground beef

1) Cheesy Baked Rotini

1 pound dried rotini

1 pound mild sausage (like pizza sausage)

15/16 oz ricotta cheese

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

26 oz jar meat-flavored Prego spaghetti sauce

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the rotini. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes, drain the pasta. While pasta is cooking, brown and drain the sausage.

Place the cooked rotini and sausage in a large bowl. Mix with ALL OF the ricotta and half the mozzarella. Grease a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Spread half of the spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the pan, add the rotini and sausage mixture, then the remaining sauce. Sprinkle with the parmesan and remaining mozzarella.

Bake uncovered 20 to 30 minutes until casserole bubbles on the edges.

2) Easy, Kid-friendly, Enchiladas

My 3 year old loves to make these with me, and loves to eat them too!

2 cans Ortega mild enchilada sauce

10 flour tortillas

1 package Perdue Italian marinated, shredded, pre-cooked chicken pieces

6 cups shredded cheddar jack cheese

1/2 cup sour cream

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Pour 2 cans enchilada sauce into a pie dish. Dip both sides of a flour tortilla in sauce. Put desired amount of chicken pieces and cheese on top of the tortilla. Roll up tortilla and place in a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Repeat with all tortillas. 10 will fit if you roll them tightly. 8 if you make them really big.

Add 1/2 cup of sour cream to the left over sauce in the pie dish and mix together. Pour over all the enchiladas in the dish. Sprinkle (very generously!) the rest of the cheddar jack cheese over all the enchiladas.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until hot.

For more adult taste, add onions or bell pepper pieces. Can also sprinkle the top of the enchiladas with scallions if desired.

3) Hot Dog and Potato Dinner

1 Package Betty Crocker au gratin potatoes

2 1/3 cups hot water

2/3 cups of milk

1 cup frozen peas, corn and carrots

6 hot dogs cut into 1 inch pieces

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Stir together Potatoes, sauce mix, hot water, and milk in a 10-inch skillet. Stir in frozen veggies. Heat to boiling; cover and reduce heat to simmer 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occassionally until potatoes are tender.

Stir in hot dogs, cover and heat 3-4 minutes until hot dogs are hot. Sprinkle cheese over mixture. let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

4) EASY Meatballs in Sauce

1 package Rosina’s Homestyle Meatballs

1 18 oz jar Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ Sauce

1 16 oz can Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce

Melt BBQ sauce and cranberry sauce together in a 12 inch skillet. Stir in meatballs. Cover, but tilt the lid to release steam, stirring occassionally for 15-20 minutes medium heat.

5) Meat and Mac

1 pound ground beef

2 12 oz Stouffer’s Maccaroni and Cheese

1/2 package Taco Bell taco seasoning

Cook mac and cheese in microwave according to package directions. Meanwhile, brown and drain the ground beef. Mix together meat and taco seasoning. Stir in the mac and cheese… and an easy, tasty meal done in 10 minutes tops!

6) Pizza Pie (We call it Spaghetti Pie in our house)

1 pound ground beef

1 package spaghetti seasoning

1 6 oz tomato paste

1 tube of crescent rolls

3-6 kraft cheese slices

3/4 cups water

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Brown and drain the ground beef, stir in seasoning mix, paste and water.

Place dough in a pie dish and spread to fit. Sprinkle dough with parmesan cheese; add half the meat mixture. Top with cheese slices. Add the rest of the meat mixture on top of the cheese slices. Sprinkle with the rest of the parmesan cheese.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Place kraft cheese strips lattice fashion on top (like an apple pie top). Place pie back in the oven just long enough to melt the cheese. Cut into pie-shaped pieces and serve… Kids love it!
